At Legend Taekwondo, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where all members—especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults—can learn and enjoy Taekwondo with confidence.
We take safeguarding extremely seriously. Every instructor at our club undergoes full safeguarding training, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to create a safe training environment. In addition, all our instructors maintain up-to-date first aid certification, so they are prepared to respond swiftly and effectively in any situation.
To reinforce our commitment, we have a Dedicated Safeguarding Lead, who is responsible for overseeing all safeguarding matters within the club.
This includes:
✅ Running regular safeguarding training for all instructors.
✅ Ensuring all safeguarding policies are followed and updated.
✅ Providing a clear and confidential reporting system for any safeguarding concerns.
✅ Being the first point of contact for members, parents, and guardians who have any concerns.
We ensure all our instructors:
✔️ Complete regular safeguarding refresher training.
✔️ Are fully DBS checked before coaching.
✔️ Follow strict policies on child protection, safe coaching practices, and appropriate conduct.
✔️ Promote a respectful, inclusive, and positive training environment for all students.
If you have any safeguarding concerns or would like to discuss anything related to welfare, please do not hesitate to speak to our Dedicated Safeguarding Lead.
Any concerns will be handled with sensitivity and confidentiality, following proper safeguarding procedures.
Your safety and well-being are our priority. By working together, we can ensure that Legend Taekwondo remains a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming group for all.
